El poeta brasileño Erthos Albino de Souza (1932-2000) tiene un papel destacado en la poesía digital internacional, pero lamentablemente los registros de su obra son escasos. Recientemente se realizó una exposición en su honor: Erthos Albino de Souza. Poesía: el Dactyl to the Digit exhibido en el Instituto Moreira Salles, Río de Janeiro, recogiendo poemas impresos, cartas y diarios y otros documentos relevantes, como las copias raras de la revista Code (1974 -1990) editadas y financiadas por Erthos.

The Brazilian poet Erthos Albino de Souza (1932-2000) has a prominent role in the international digital poetry, but unfortunately the records of his work is scarce. Only recently an exhibition was held in his honor: Erthos Albino de Souza. Según su autor, Agnus Valente, “Uterus, por lo tanto, Cosmos” es una especie de trabajo en progreso desarrollado durante los años 2003 a 2007. En este proyecto, varios poemas electrónicos creados por Valente y su hermano gemelo, Nardo Germano, exploran lo expresivo y el potencial conceptual de la Red Informática Mundial. “Útero, por lo tanto, Cosmos” reúne en un entorno digital, obras de artistas visuales, poetas y músicos de diferentes épocas. Valente propone un diálogo entre sus poemas escritos con su hermano y el trabajo de poetas y artistas visuales brasileños.

According to its author, Agnus Valente, “Uterus therefore Cosmos” is a kind of work in progress developed during the years 2003 to 2007. In this project, several e-poems created by Valente and his twin brother, Nardo Germano, explores the expressive and conceptual potential of the World Wide Web. “Uterus therefore Cosmos” brings together in one digital environment, works by visual artists, poets and musicians from different eras. Valente proposes a dialogue between his poems authored with his brother and the work of brazilian poets and visual artists.

Performed by the Brazilian musician, poet and multimedia artist Arnaldo Antunes, “Não tem que” (Don’t have to)  is a video poem composed of photographic images synchronized to voice and song. It is part of a transmedia project titled Nome (“Name”) released in book, CD, and VHS in 1993, and remastered and reissued in CD and DVD in 2006. Nome consists of 30 multimedia works that are situated between songs and poems. Despite not having been developed exclusively for the digital medium, it was composed ​​and designed with animation, audio editing, image and video digital techniques.

The André Vallias digital poem ” A Encantação pelo Riso” is inspired by Cubo-Futurist poem “Invocation by Laughter” published in 1910 by russian poet Vielimir Klebnikov and translated into portuguese by Haroldo de Campos in 1985. The original poem presents a new semantic system based on the words decomposition and phonetic experimentation resulting in a work with a strong sonorous appeal.

El poema digital de André Vallias “A Encantação pelo Riso” está inspirado en el poema Cubano-FuturistaInvocation by Laughter” publicado en 1910 por el poeta ruso Vielimir Klebnikov y traducido al portugués por Haroldo de Campos en 1985. El poema original presenta un nuevo sistema semántico basado en la descomposición de palabras y la experimentación fonética que resulta en un trabajo con un fuerte atractivo sonoro.
